I can rest in a time of unrest, knowing that He guides my path. Not one political policy, world event, or national pandemic takes Christ by surprise.
“Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
I can delight in and devour His Word, which will assure me of the peace and rest provided simply by allowing His words to speak to me.
“Psalm 119:97 - O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.”
“Psalm 119:165 - Great peace have they which love thy laand nothing shall offend them.”
I can allow Jesus to speak words of peace, not worry, THROUGH me. This can encourage my husband, my children, my friends, and people with whom He brings me into contact.
“Psalm 119:74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me;
because I have hoped in thy word.”
I can have joy, instead of being overshadowed by overwhelm, because I know the giver of peace. The giver of joy. The giver of LIFE.
“Psalm 119:143 - Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me:
yet thy commandments are my delights.”
If you are a child of God, you can live victorious over doubt, worry, anxiety. Cast your cares upon He who never falters or fails. Let His peace, not the world’s fear, dictate your life. And while you are enjoying that peace and rest He gives, be sure to share the good news of salvation (which brings ultimate peace) with someone else.
