Can you imagine the damage that would cause someone to hear that everyday? But yet, I would tell myself that nearly all the time.
No one ever told me that, except myself. No one believed that about me either....but I did.
That type of thinking can cause so much damage, but guess what? It doesn't have a hold on me anymore!
Sometimes all it takes is some personal growth.
Actually reading God's Word, and learning from His character.
Seeing the faults in myself, and changing them.
Focusing on the good instead of all the bad.
It takes time.
It takes change.
It takes determination.
It takes a change of heart.
It sometimes takes a community.
I am still working on changing this toxic feeling and instead dwelling on truth. Changing our mind is not always easy, but it is totally worth it!!!
